Kiwi brands Dose & Co and The Caker have joined forces for a uniquely nourishing collaboration.
You’ve probably heard about the potential beauty benefits of things like avocado face masks, maybe you’ve even tried a few of them, but what if you could literally eat your way to better skin? That’s what the unique collaboration between Kiwi brands Dose & Co and The Caker promises with their limited-edition Dose & Co X The Caker collagen cake kit.
The Blueberry, Orange and White Chocolate cake kit contains the oh so popular Dose & Co Vanilla Collagen Creamer, providing both an exquisite richness and moreish texture. Each slice contains 5 grams of collagen (40g per cake), which means cake lovers are getting the beauty benefits of collagen in every bite.

We tried the recipe ourselves at the dish offices and it was a smashing success. Everyone who tried a piece loved it – we can only presume their skin is loving all that collagen, too!
The idea was sparked when Dose & Co founder Libby Matthews reached out to New Zealand cake extraordinaire Jordan Rondel, The Caker, about doing an unconventional collaboration together.
“When the team at Dose & Co suggested collaborating on a cake kit together, I immediately said yes,” says Jordan. “Not only are we both New Zealand, female-founded companies, but collagen bakes beautifully into cakes and I knew it was a partnership too good to pass up.”

Jordan’s sentiment is echoed by Libby, “I have always been a big fan of Jordan and everything she has done with The Caker. The flavours Jordan comes up with are so clever and unique. She creates combinations I would never think to put together, but it always seems to result in seriously addictive baking.”
Both brands are seeing big-time success overseas, with Dose & Co collagen powders and The Caker cake kits now available in the United States, but both Libby and Jordan wanted the limited-edition Collagen Cake Kit to be a special gift for Kiwi customers.
“Both our brands have seen phenomenal growth these last few years, which is all thanks to the support of our loyal Kiwi customers. This is a special collaboration we wanted to do as a gift for the people who have been with us from day one,” says Libby.
