Double Dutch Fries and Wise Boys Burgers team up for summer

Double Dutch Fries and Wise Boys Burgers are teaming at the Double Dutch Fries store in Takapuna for the summer season.
Double Dutch Fries and Wise Boys Burgers have been fan-favourites on the NZ food truck scene for years, before expanding to permanent locations that have had hungry Kiwis lining out the doors. This summer, the two are combining forces at the Double Dutch Fries store in Takapuna, bringing together the best of Wise Boys’ plant-based burgers and Double Dutch’s insanely delicious hand cut fries.
The collaboration will see Wise Boys’ innovative vegan fish and chips on offer, as well as a newly created dish that brings together the best of both eateries: BBQ jackfruit loaded fries. The tempting new creation features vegan mozzarella, tomato salsa and guacamole, and Wise Boys’ signature aioli. As an extra treat for plant -based fans and curious consumers, the pop up will also be serving up an original recipe vegan Dutch mayo.
Wise Boys has been making major waves since opening its store earlier this year, with the vegan fish and chips really hitting the spot for regulars. Made from banana blossoms that are beer battered and deep fried, the dish has breathed new life into the classic Kiwi pastime of enjoying fish and chips on the beach.
Double Dutch Fries' hand cut potato fries are the perfect addition to Wise Boys’ offering. Keeping conscious consumers in mind, Double Dutch uses 100% compostable packaging.
Visit the pop up collaboration this summer at Double Dutch Fries, 40 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna.
