Dine with dish

We’d love you to join us at one of our favourite Ponsonby restaurants – KOL – for a delicious dinner prepared by head chef, Vicky Shah on Tuesday 16 May.
To complement the 5 courses, dish is excited to partner with Marisco Vineyards and its Kings Series wines.
An award-winning family-owned and operated Marlborough wine brand, Marisco Vineyards was established in 2006 by esteemed winemaker Brent Marris and since then, has been committed to crafting quality wines that honour the family’s heritage. The Kings Series pays homage to the scandalous and often notorious tales of Marris’ ancestors, the de Mariscos – the name of each wine painting a picture of the stories.
Of course, there are no scandalous stories today and owners Brent and Rosemary Marris are passionate about creating a family legacy – two of the couple’s four daughters are also actively part of the Marisco Vineyards team.
KOL in Ponsonby – the latest venture for hospitality superstars Sid and Chand Sahrawat – with its casual atmosphere and modern take on traditional Indian cuisine, is a fun and vibrant restaurant to enjoy a taste of the wines from the Kings Series.
“KOL offers casual Indian-style dishes but not as you know them – there is more to Indian food than a traditional Indian curry,” says head chef Vicky Shah. There will be plenty to enjoy and limited seats are available, so secure your spot at the table now for a spectacular evening of wonderful food and wine!
