Satisfy your foodie fix during three interactive days with the New Zealand School of Food and Wine.
Now in its fifth year, the Wine & Food Celebration brings together three delicious days of practical cookery classes, innovative demonstrations, wine tastings, masterclasses and celebration dinners.
To celebrate American Express Auckland Restaurant Month, the New Zealand School of Food and Wine will play host to an unmissable series of events, kicking off on Saturday, August 18.
Ticket holders will be invited to sip, sample and savour fabulous food and wine, try their hand at becoming a guest chef for the day or a food blogger and experience everything on trend in the fabulous world of food.

Urban Forage
When: Saturday, August 18.
Tickets: $85.
Enjoy the afternoon with Maori TV chef Rewi Spraggon and his collaborator, park ranger Riki Bennett for an inaugural Urban Forage. Rewi will guide guests through a unique culinary walk, finding edible delicacies in plain sight. Finish the afternoon with a delicious gourmet lunch matched with local beverages of Kawakawa and Manuka honey, alongside a mouth-watering selection of inspired Auckland wines.

Tickets: $160 for two.
Make like a food blogger for the afternoon and enjoy an exciting class that delves deep into the world of capturing food on film. Bring along a friend, style and snap your way to deliciousness, creating your own creations over five courses for the chance to win a dinner for two at a leading Auckland restaurant.
Guest chef in our kitchen
When: Sunday, August 19.
Tickets: $125 per person.
Experience the heat of the commercial kitchen and play guest chef for the day, helping bring to life a celebration dinner on Sunday, August 19. After working hard in the kitchen, enjoy a pre-dinner wine tasting before your settling in for your meal. Join guest chef Stefan Loestcher for this one-of-a-kind gastronomic feast.
Savouring and tasting wine
When: Sunday, August 19.
Tickets: $60 (General Admission ticket). A GA ticket includes free entry to all wine tastings, free cooking demonstrations and a range of complimentary gourmet nibbles and snacks, served throughout the session.
Join a handful of New Zealand's top wineries as they pour a selection of new vintages, discuss their innovative wine styles and host a cookery and wine masterclass, during this unique wine-lovers' showcase. Guests will be treated to industry insights from:

Discover 'the Great White' – once one of New Zealand's brightest stars, now increasingly rare, in this interesting session that delves into the deliciously diverse world of Chenin Blanc. - Lynette Hudson: Natural Wines.
