The Food Show Auckland 2017

Don't miss out on the ultimate foodie's day out – The Food Show Auckland is back in town.
The country's best produce will be on display front and center this July at Auckland's ASB Showgrounds, for four days of delicious food festivities.
The Food Show Auckland promises to introduce local foodies to fantastic new home-grown producers and artisans, boutique wine and craft beer, with plenty of info-tainment to boot.
In keeping with previous events, cooking demonstrations by some of the country's most reputable chefs – including Annabel Langbein, Simon Gault, Michael Van de Elzen and Annabelle White – will take place throughout the weekend in the Cooking Theatre. Be sure to head along to this year's four-day event and taste your way around the arena.
This year's show is scheduled to kick off on Thursday, July 27 and will run until Sunday close of business. Be sure to visit the team at the Dish stand to ensure you go home with a delicious goodie bag.

We start by sharing what’s on the dish team’s radar, what we’re watching, listening to and reading. Harry Butterfield puts a twist on his Nonna’s agnolotti, Malissa Fedele reminds us of the importance of fibre, and Phoebe Holden fulfils a long-held dream, sitting down with Yotam Ottolenghi. Autumn is an abundant time, we make the most with pumpkin, kūmara, cabbage, cauliflower, feijoas, apples and pears. We’re dishing up dinners for two, including a Chicken Dumpling Lasagne, alongside easy weeknight meals. We honour our mums, revisit timeless classics, and add a little baking challenge. This issue, we encourage you to slow down, to enjoy writing your shopping list, and spending time in the kitchen. Because even when life feels relentless, there’s always space to share something delicious.
