L’affare’s College St – a new limited edition coffee blend

Find out how you could be in to WIN one of three College St Café and Wellington experiences with L'affare's limited edition College Street blend.
L’affare brings you their latest limited edition coffee blend, College St, a tip of the cap to their flagship roastery and café loved by Wellingtonians. For over 30 years, 27 College St has been the iconic home of L’affare, a sprawling, eclectic and bustling 145-seater situated in the heart of Te Aro, Wellington.
Coined “champagne in a cup” by the L’affare team, College St was originally developed in honour of the café’s 25th birthday and is a blend used by a select few of their cafe customers.
With tasting notes of tropical fruit, blackcurrant and subtle milk chocolate, this blend is sure to be a crowd pleaser. While the blend is suitable for all brewing methods, it makes an especially good espresso and pairs perfectly with your favourite sweet treat.
The delicious College St blend is on shelf now for a limited time in the fresh coffee aisle at your local supermarket. Grab a bag and stock up before it sells out.

L’affare are also offering purchasers the chance to win one of three College St Café and Wellington experiences. Simply buy a bag of College St instore or online, enter your details on the L’affare website and be in with a chance to win. The three lucky winners will each win a prize valued at over $2500, including return flights for two to Wellington, two nights' accommodation at the QT Museum Art Hotel, brunch for two at L'affare, a L'affare College St coffee roastery experience and gift pack, also dinner for two at Liberty Restaurant, and some spending money to boot. We start by sharing what’s on the dish team’s radar, what we’re watching, listening to and reading. Harry Butterfield puts a twist on his Nonna’s agnolotti, Malissa Fedele reminds us of the importance of fibre, and Phoebe Holden fulfils a long-held dream, sitting down with Yotam Ottolenghi. Autumn is an abundant time, we make the most with pumpkin, kūmara, cabbage, cauliflower, feijoas, apples and pears. We’re dishing up dinners for two, including a Chicken Dumpling Lasagne, alongside easy weeknight meals. We honour our mums, revisit timeless classics, and add a little baking challenge. This issue, we encourage you to slow down, to enjoy writing your shopping list, and spending time in the kitchen. Because even when life feels relentless, there’s always space to share something delicious.
