Champion 2023 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Wairau River Estate Sauvignon Blanc

Wairau River 2023 Sauvignon Blanc was awarded the Trophy for Champion Sauvignon Blanc, at the 2023 Marlborough Wine Show. This is huge acclaim in a region renowned for spectacular Sauvignon Blanc.
This vintage has intense lifted notes of ripe tropical fruits and citrus on the nose and is refined and elegant. Marlborough’s warm days and cool nights, allow the grapes to develop beautiful acidity which balances the intense varietal characteristics of ripe grapefruit, white nectarine and tropical fruits, resulting in an elegant, refreshing, crisp wine that’s distinctly Marlborough.
Wairau River is the flagship wine of Rose Family Estate. Founders Phil & Chris Rose were pioneers in the Marlborough wine industry, planting their first vines along the stony banks of the Wairau River in 1978. Today Wairau River is one of New Zealand’s most highly regarded wine producers, carefully crafting wines from family-owned, sustainably grown vineyards and is exported all around the world.
Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc is available from leading supermarkets and online.
You can be confident that choosing Wairau River is always a good decision.
