You’re Invited to Celebrate L’affare Newmarket’s 5th Birthday!

Born from a desire to share the world’s best coffee with kiwis, L’affare is a pioneer of the coffee industry in New Zealand. They are a Wellington institution with their flagship café turning 31 this year, and their Newmarket café following in its footsteps, celebrating the big five this May 17-23.
Located on Melrose Street, L’affare Newmarket is a modern daytime eatery with superb coffee, and fresh and delicious local fare. With their fifth birthday coming up, L’affare feel like a good old celebration is in order.
Featuring sweet treats, fresh muso talent, lots of brews (maybe even some coffee) and plenty of beautiful kai from head chef Luke Adams; you’ll be left feeling like it’s your own birthday—minus the getting older part.
The plan:
L’affare’s starting the week off right and shouting everyone coffees on Monday. Head into the café to get your caffeine fix and mentally prepare yourself for the working week ahead.
Tuesday is cake day. Head Chef Luke has developed a delicious recipe using only the best coffee that L’affare has to offer, which you can sample and then take home to make in your own kitchen.
Hump day will be all about the beans. Spend $20 in the café on food or drink and take home your very own bag of the L’affare Newmarket Birthday Blend coffee beans – ground to your style.
Giving back to the community is important to L’affare, so on Thursday all coffee proceeds will be donated to the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust.
Ending the week on a high, there will be even more cake, brews, and the sweet sounds of Sophia Davies and Bobby Brazuka to close out the weekend.
