Win a $50 voucher to eat at your favourite Toastie Takeover eatery

Enter our competition for your chance to win one of three $50 vouchers to eat at your favourite Toastie Takeover eatery. Even better, each winner will receive a jar of McClure’s Bread & Butter Pickles.
The toasted sandwich – a treasured staple in every Kiwi household – is getting an upgrade this winter with 50 eateries nationwide putting their unique spin on the classic snack for The Great New Zealand Toastie Takeover.
Now in its second year, this popular celebration of the toasted sandwich has introduced a competitive element for 2019, with participating eateries being judged on their creations in the quest to find the country’s tastiest toastie.
To celebrate, we've giving you the chance to win one of three $50 vouchers, so you can head into your local eatery (before 31 July) and sample the hottest toastie in your neighbourhood. But that's not all, each winner will also receive a jar of McClure’s Bread & Butter Pickles.

We start by sharing what’s on the dish team’s radar, what we’re watching, listening to and reading. Harry Butterfield puts a twist on his Nonna’s agnolotti, Malissa Fedele reminds us of the importance of fibre, and Phoebe Holden fulfils a long-held dream, sitting down with Yotam Ottolenghi. Autumn is an abundant time, we make the most with pumpkin, kūmara, cabbage, cauliflower, feijoas, apples and pears. We’re dishing up dinners for two, including a Chicken Dumpling Lasagne, alongside easy weeknight meals. We honour our mums, revisit timeless classics, and add a little baking challenge. This issue, we encourage you to slow down, to enjoy writing your shopping list, and spending time in the kitchen. Because even when life feels relentless, there’s always space to share something delicious.
