Time your next holiday to Melbourne to coincide with Melbourne Food and Wine Festival presented by Bank of Melbourne (27 February – 15 March 2015) when some of the most inspiring chefs in the world will be in town including Dan Barber (USA) Ruth Rogers (UK) and Janice Wong (Singapore).
Highlights from the programme include Justin Gellatly from state-of-the-art bakery and school Bread Ahead in London, who will be headlining as international guest baker, alongside a daily program of Australia's most celebrated chefs. The Dish team is particularly excited about Benjamin Cooper's (Kong, Richmond & Chin Chin, Melbourne) pickles and fermentation MasterClass skills workshop, and a long lunch for 1500 people in Melbourne's iconic fresh produce market.
There’s plenty of Kiwi-grown talent in the line-up too, including Dave Verheul (The Town Mouse) and New Zealand’s Hottest Home Baker judge Dean Brettschneider baking up a storm at the Festival Artisan Bakery and Bar, the official Festival pop-up in the heart of the city.
