Guests at Dish's latest Miele Chef's Table event enjoyed a demonstration and delicious meal by the head chef of Auckland game food restaurant, Cazador.
Over two nights, 28 guests visited Miele's beautiful Experience Centre where they were treated to a cooking demonstration and three-course meal prepared by Dariush Lolaiy, the head chef of Auckland's much-loved Cazador restaurant.
With the help of Cazador's multi-talented co-owner Rebecca Smidt, Dariush gave tips and tricks for preparing game – the focus of Cazador's menu.

The evening began with and entree of Pheasant Liver Parfait with Toast and Pickles, followed by a Roast Saddle of Hare with Radishes and Turnips served with seasonal vegetables. For dessert, guests enjoyed an incredible Persian Mess of goat's curd, meringue, strawberry, rhubarb and pistachios.
Guests left with copies of the recipes from the evening, less intimidated by the prospect of cooking with game and inspired to recreate the magic at home.
