Beer and Cheese Workshop at L'Atelier du Fromage

Join Maison Vauron and the L'Atelier du Fromage team for a evening dedicated to all things bière.
It goes without saying that beer and cheese are high on the priority list here at Dish HQ.
So when you combine the two, magic happens. This Friday, May 11, the team at Maison Vauron French Wine Merchants and L'Atelier du Fromage will host the ultimate French beer and cheese workshop, showcasing milk-made delights from our favourite regions and the very best of the brewed stuff.
Guests will enjoy a rare line-up of French beers (think 3 Monts and Mont Blanc) alongside unique cheese matches, followed by a world-class fondue, prepared by chef Gilles Papst.
Whether you’re a self-proclaimed cheese enthusiast or resident craft beer convert, consider this one the workshop for you. We suggest you get in quick to secure your tickets – this one is bound to be a sell out.
Menu: Four cheese and beer matches, followed by Fondue Normande and cider match.
Digestif: Calvados VSOP.

We start by sharing what’s on the dish team’s radar, what we’re watching, listening to and reading. Harry Butterfield puts a twist on his Nonna’s agnolotti, Malissa Fedele reminds us of the importance of fibre, and Phoebe Holden fulfils a long-held dream, sitting down with Yotam Ottolenghi. Autumn is an abundant time, we make the most with pumpkin, kūmara, cabbage, cauliflower, feijoas, apples and pears. We’re dishing up dinners for two, including a Chicken Dumpling Lasagne, alongside easy weeknight meals. We honour our mums, revisit timeless classics, and add a little baking challenge. This issue, we encourage you to slow down, to enjoy writing your shopping list, and spending time in the kitchen. Because even when life feels relentless, there’s always space to share something delicious.
