Greetings you fabulous fermenters! 
It might STILL be a soggy old Winter out there at the mo., but at dish we’re already underway creating our cranking Christmas issue and the theme is Fizz with Rizz! We’ll be focusing on the best home-grown examples out there. The Christmas Issue is HUGE, and we want to make sure you’re in it. So, if you make sparkling superstars then best you get a wriggle on and enter them NOW! And that means sparkling reds, rose’s, traditional Methodes, zero and low alc’s and fizz of all descriptions. The tasting is open to NZ-produced sparkling wines only. 

If you’re a distributor please check with your local wineries to see if they’re interested in entering. Following the Tasting Panel, you will be notified immediately if your wine is awarded a top ranking and we will request a bottle shot to appear in the editorial feature. It will also appear on our website at dish.co.nz If you are not contacted by our editorial team within one week of judging, you are welcome to email us for your scores and notes. Those wines awarded top rankings also earn the right to wear the ‘dish Tasting Panel Selection’ sticker. We supply the Top Ranked wines with one complimentary roll of 1000 stickers to use for marketing and promotion. And additional stickers can be ordered for $24 ex GST per roll (1000 stickers). 
PLUS we’ve now got our gorgeous, impactful Silver Medal Stickers available for all those achieving this level and our editorial team will be in touch post-judging to let you know if your entries are eligible.

The deadline for submission entries is 5pm Monday 1st September 2025.

All wines entered must be available for purchase as of 3rd November 2025. 

Samples must arrive at Yvonne’s place by 5PM Wednesday 3rd September to be judged.
A fee of $75 is payable per wine entered by each individual company 
 
Please submit TWO bottles of EACH wine entered to.
