Giddy Up Shirazliens!! 

For just the second time in our 14 Year Tasting Panel history, dish Magazine is venturing offshore to embrace the ANZAC spirit and highlight the best AUSTRALIAN SHIRAZ wines available in NZ. So with ANZAC DAY approaching, our hearts and mouths are always open to supporting our clever cobber’s from across the ditch and the triumphant Shiraz they create.

We want to see 100% Shiraz, Shiraz-Dominant blends AND Sparkling Shiraz - waaahhhoooo!! The tasting is open to AUSTRALIAN PRODUCED SHIRAZ only. All Shiraz entered must be available for purchase as at 14 July 2025 

All entries must be received online by EOD Monday May 5th to be eligible and the physical bottles must arrive at Yvonne’s place by EOD Wednesday 7th May – see address below. 

Our team of highly experienced, Shiraz-loving senior judges will assess them in a blind tasting at EIT in Hawke’s Bay on Friday 9th May with results being published in Issue 122 of dish, on sale 14th July 2025.
