It's the last week to have your say in deciding who is crowned New Zealand's Café of the Year 2016 and there's some amazing prizes to be won.
Voting closes midnight this Friday (October 9th) for the NZ Café of the Year People's Choice Award. The café from each region that receives the most votes will automatically go into the judges shortlist for the top Café of the Year prize as well as having the chance to be the overall People's Choice winner.
Just by voting you'll go in the draw to win one of 10 weekly brunch prizes of $50. You'll also have the chance to win one of four Ultimate Café Road Trips with Renault.
Voting is easy, simply check the website at www.nzcafeoftheyear.co.nz to see a list of entrants in your region and vote via txt, Facebook or online.
Once voting closes, 72 regional finalists will be shortlisted alongside six People’s Choice finalists for the judging phase.
One winner is selected in each of the four categories – Best Metro/CBD, Best Suburban, Best Rural and Classic Kiwi - from which the supreme winner is chosen. The public vote will also be used to determine the People’s Choice winner.
As well as the glory, the supreme Café Of The Year also takes away a $40,000 editorial package in Dish Magazine, a ‘Great Cafés of Melbourne Tour’ valued at $10,000 and use of Renault Kangoo for a year.
