The ten dollar lunch with a difference

With the help of award-winning chef Michael Meredith, Lisa King has started a lunch revolution. Buy lunch for yourself and Eat My Lunch will give one to a child who'd otherwise go without.
It's 11am and you're already starting to think about what you're going to eat for lunch. Lunch from the trolley? A sandwich from down the road? Or simply leftover dinner from the night before? It's a luxurious choice that thousands of children across New Zealand know nothing of, as they go without lunch every day.
Enter Lisa King, who with the help of award-winning chef Michael Meredith is striving to make a difference to Kiwi children through a buy-one-give-one charity lunch scheme. For just $10, those in Auckland can order lunch to be delivered fresh to offices, with KidsCan providing another lunch to a child from a low decile school who might otherwise go without.
With Michael Meredith at the helm, you can be sure these affordable lunches will be tasty and wholesome, but the real satisfaction comes from knowing you've helped a child in need.
To sign up to the service, with delivery Auckland-wide starting this week, visit www.eatmylunch.co.nz.
