A Bespoke Culinary Tour Curated by Sid and Chand Sahrawat

Award-winning restaurateurs Sid and Chand Sahrawat, celebrated for their Auckland establishments like Cassia and The French Café, are personally inviting fellow foodies and explorers on an 11-night, 12-day culinary and cultural journey through India.
This bespoke tour is crafted for those who want to immerse themselves in the country’s rich heritage and vibrant food scene, all while enjoying the comforts of five-star luxury. The adventure begins in Delhi, where guests will spend three nights at the opulent ITC Maurya. The stay includes a private and exclusive celebration of the Holi festival, a colourful and unforgettable experience.
A day trip to Agra is also planned to witness the breathtaking Taj Mahal, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The time in Delhi culminates with a welcome dinner at the renowned fine-dining restaurant, Dum Pukht.

The journey continues east to Kolkata, the former capital of the British Empire in India, a city steeped in colonial history and a vibrant culinary landscape. Here, guests will spend two nights at the ITC Royal Bengal, where a special evening awaits: a sophisticated single malt whisky tasting paired with an extraordinary 11-course fine dining experience.
The city’s rich heritage will be explored through a guided food tour. Next, the group flies west to Mumbai for three nights at the luxurious St. Regis. This leg of the tour focuses on hands-on culinary learning, with a private street food masterclass at India’s leading restaurant, followed by a fine-dining experience at the award-winning Indian Accent.

The tour's final stop is Kovalam in the southern state of Kerala, where the group will unwind for three nights at The Leela, a stunning clifftop luxury resort. Here, guests will enjoy a traditional South Indian meal, participate in a cooking lesson to make chutneys and pickles, and take a day excursion to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India.
The grand finale is a royal dinner at The Leela Kovalam, before guests depart from Trivandrum International Airport. This tour is more than just a vacation; it's a personalised, immersive adventure combining luxury, hospitality, and a deep appreciation for India's diverse food and culture, curated by hosts passionate about sharing their love for the country.
