JOIN US FOR DINE WITH DISH AT ATELIER – SEPTEMBER 18TH!

dish would love for you to join us for an evening at gorgeous K-Road French tapas restaurant Atelier – for a delicious four-course French-inspired meal prepared by head chef Fantin Parpillat on Thursday, 18th September. Each course has been thoughtfully paired with selections from Nautilus Wines, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year!
Atelier opened in 2022 with a simple vision: to bring the warmth, charm, and soul of French dining to the heart of Auckland’s Karangahape Road. The restaurant offers a thoughtful blend of tradition and innovation, capturing the essence of a Parisian wine bar with a distinctly local character.
Atelier is inspired by traditional Parisian wine bars, but they didn’t want to recreate France; they wanted to honour it, while grounding it in Aotearoa. Their talented team crafts dishes that stay true to classic French techniques, while embracing the freshness and uniqueness of New Zealand’s seasonal ingredients. It’s about keeping the authenticity, with a touch of Kiwi fusion.
With its intimate, moody interior, vintage accents, Atelier is a place for slowing down, sharing stories, and enjoying the beauty of honest, thoughtful food. Their Head Chef – Fantin (aka Fanfan), born, raised, and trained in France, has been part of the Atelier story since day one. He is a driving force in the kitchen — blending calm precision, creativity, and classic French technique with a deep respect for seasonal New Zealand produce. His millefeuille is already legendary, and his sauces are as smooth as the service.
To complement his four courses, dish is delighted to partner with Nautilus Wines to showcase a selection from their Pinot Cellar and White Winery.
Nautilus is a small, family-owned winery, celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. Currently spearheaded by winemaker Clive Jones, they craft delicious, food-friendly wines from the clean, cool and diverse valleys of Marlborough. There’s a world of flavour bottled within Nautilus’ collection of wines; whether you’re after something fruity and floral, or rich and intense, they will have a wine that speaks to you. They will have four of their best on show at this Dine with Dish event!
We are excited to showcase a bespoke menu for this event, delivering a unique Atelier and Nautilus experience for all. With insights from hosts and speakers, dish Editor Sarah Tuck, Atelier Head Chef Fantin Parpillat, and winemakers from Nautilus, this is sure to be a wonderful evening!
