Drop of the Day - The Jules Rosé

On the first day of spring, we are loving Jules Taylor's new wine, The Jules Rosé, a light and juicy wine ideal for sipping... Perhaps alongside a plate of Baked Feta with Tomatoes and Spaghetti.

This fresh and fruit-packed wine is paler in colour than previous rosés from the Jules Taylor range, and is dressed in beautiful new packaging that we'd be happy to show up at a dinner party with (fun fact, the design represents Jules’ hands-on approach in the vineyards).
Made from merlot grapes grown in Gisborne, the pale pink wine is bursting with summer fruits: raspberry, pomegranate, papaya and mango as well as yummy hints of poached rhubarb and vanilla cream. The delicious juicy acidity and dry finish make this wine an ideal summer’s day sipper and will leave you reaching for another glass. We reckon it would work well alongside a plate of Baked Feta with Tomatoes and Spaghetti on a sunny afternoon.
Jules Taylor has been making rosé since 2009 (way before it was cool), so it has a special place in her heart - but this year she decided to do things a bit differently.
“I just love rosé” says Jules “it signifies happiness in a glass and after all the doom and gloom of 2020 I decided I needed to focus on something fresh and positive.”
And what's fresher or more positive than a glass of rosé?
