Bringing people together over great wine has been at the heart of Selaks since it began more than 90 years ago in West Auckland. That journey ultimately led Selaks to Hawke’s Bay, now home to the winery, where endless sunshine, gentle maritime breezes, and cool nights create the ideal conditions for grapes to ripen slowly and beautifully. Selaks story in Hawke’s Bay began with its first harvest in 2005, evolving over time to become the birthplace of the iconic Buttery Chardonnay - now one of New Zealand’s most loved Buttery Chards.

Sourced from the renowned Bridge Pa Triangle, a Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand Certified vineyard, the wine is crafted for those who cherish the richness and generosity of New Zealand Chardonnay. Hawke’s Bay’s natural balance shines through in every glass, with refreshing acidity and impressive fruit density that truly capture the spirit of the region.
